We are seeking an experienced Tax Director for an opportunity paying up to $210K, based on experience based in Hamilton, NJ. This position seeks a seasoned tax professional who desires to become a leader in a growing tax practice, with a potential for partnership. Candidates should have a strong background in tax advisory services, tax planning, and the ability to service a diverse client base effectively.
Requirements of the Tax Director:
- JD degree; and an LLM is preferred - NOT required
- CPA is required
- Extensive technical tax advisory experience across various areas
- Proficient in tax planning and consulting
- Advanced computer skills, especially in financial modeling
- Well versed in managing complex tax environments with clients at a national and/or regional firm
- Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently with professionalism
Responsibilities of the Tax Director:
- Serve as a technical and consultative tax resource for all firm professionals
- Stay updated on tax laws and disseminate information throughout the firm
- Advise on corporate tax structures for diverse client needs
- Manage a significant portfolio of clients
- Collaborate with other professionals on technical tax matters
- Participate as a subject matter expert and support client service teams
- Develop strategic plans anticipating new tax service needs
- Write articles and newsletters to inform clients and prospects of tax law changes
