POSITION OVERVIEW
The FP&A Senior Analyst role is responsible for leading a division’s forecasting and budgeting processes as well as any operational analysis or reporting needs. This position works closely with operational leaders in their assigned division as well as with the Labor, Strategy, and Business Intelligence teams within FP&A to accomplish these tasks.
Analysts will specialize in one of the following areas:
- Casino
- Hotel/Rooms
- Food & Beverage
- Marketing, Retail, & Entertainment
- General & Administrative
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Partner with the Manager of FP&A as well as leaders within the assigned specialty to drive execution of all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing efforts for the division.
- Responsible for leading operators through the annual budget and monthly forecast processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of outputs while also providing input and feedback to key stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations on how to improve forecast assumptions and baselines along with creating reconciliations to bridge actual results to target.
- Develop and maintain monthly and quarterly basis financial modeling, data mining, and presentation support (via Excel, Power BI, Power Point, Tableau, IBM Planning & Analytics, TM1 Perspectives, etc.).
- Identify, collect, consolidate, and analyze data from various source systems and data warehouse encompassing the company’s operations, including, financial data, customer data, sales data, and other relevant metrics.
- Ability to tie operational KPI and analyses to financial reports both in retrospective and forward-looking applications.
- Serve as the leader for training, reporting, and improvements to forecasting methodology within the FP&A system for end-users within the Sr. Analyst’s assigned areas.
- Collaborate with operators, other analysts, and FP&A leadership to understand and create solutions for key business and analytical needs within the assigned division.
- Create and sustain a thoughtful and collaborative strategic and analytical culture between FP&A and the assigned division.
- Identify areas of opportunity within the assigned division to ensure efficiency and optimization within all aspects of the organization, ensuring continued Revenue and/or EBITDA growth.
- Maintain a robust reporting package for the assigned division which tracks forecast accuracy, analyzes business trends, and evaluates departmental performance.
- Perform advanced analysis within the assigned division(s) and serve as a thought partner to leadership within said division for operational and financial needs.
- Compile and distribute the company-wide Daily Operating Report.
- Develop comprehensive and insightful reports, dashboards, and visualization to present key findings to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates and improvements to established reporting/dashboard standards and deliverables.
- Facilitate special projects outside of the assigned division, driving efficiency and/or quality, as needed.
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, accounting, or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Two (2) years of experience in FP&A analytics preferably for a large-scale luxury resort/casino.
- Advanced understanding of best practices, industry trends, gaming terminology, and emerging technologies in the FP&A space.
- Strong experience with querying and interpreting data through a variety of sources (Teradata, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM Planning & Analytics, Oracle Fusion, Excel, TM1 Perspectives, Tableau).
- Strong operational knowledge within the Hospitality and/or Gaming industry.
- Must have proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office software, specifically Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and proactively and clearly communicates shifting priorities and timelines.
- Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- Ability to gather, synthesize and analyze data and draw logical conclusions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong critical thinking skills with a curiosity for improving current processes.
- Maintain composure under pressure and consistently meet deadlines with internal and external customers.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

$78000 per year - $94000 per year
