Our client is a regional insurer, actively seeking a high-caliber candidate to join their sizeable finance team. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead and oversee financial analysis, providing invaluable insights to drive strategic decision-making activities. Responsibilities:
- Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis and performance tracking dashboards for senior stakeholders, enhancing content quality and optimizing underlying processes.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with Business Units to gain comprehensive insights into their performance and outlook. Identify key drivers and provide valuable insights to senior management regarding sales performance.
- Collaborate closely with the Group Office and Business Units to develop quarterly forecasts and a comprehensive Business Plan for Board submissions.
- Collaborate with Country Performance Directors to meticulously review and challenge Business Unit submissions from a sales perspective. Develop a robust framework to formulate the Group's own view.
- Conduct in-depth analysis on channel and product mix to inform the Business Plan and major bank partner sales forecasts.
- Prepare Business Plan Guidance as needed, leveraging historical trends, market context, financial targets, and economic indicators.
- Drive process automation initiatives to streamline the production of management information, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years' relevant work experience in FP&A function, expenses, or management reporting with financial institutions.
- Qualified accountant (CPA) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and solid knowledge of database management and PowerPoint preparation.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and people/project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and support business units.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, both internal and external, and handle conflicting priorities.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Manager position.
