WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Estimated Salary:$90,000-$105,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.
- Benefits and Perks, 401(k) plan with a 2% company contribution and 6% company match.
- Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
- Regular associates receive 11 paid holidays in 2024, which includes 2 floating holidays that are added to your prorated personal time to be used at your discretion.
- Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 40 hours of personal time in 2024, which is prorated based on the start date. Additionally you will receive two floating holidays in 2024 by way of personal time that may be used at your discretion.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Play a critical role in our adoption of LDTI and other new accounting pronouncements in close coordination with business partners including Corporate Actuarial, IT, and FP&A.
- Responsible for aspects of the GAAP close and financial reporting preparation, ensuring accurate financial representation and reporting.
- Leads and documents key process, decisions, and internal controls.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in GAAP accounting and financial reporting for insurance companies, encompassing accounting principles, analysis, controls, processes, and financial systems.
- Experience with the adoption or auditing of LDTI implementation and financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills verbally, non-verbally and in written formats, with peers and management.

- Ability to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
PREFERRED:
- 4+ years of accounting experience at Big 4 / regional public accounting firm or equivalent experience with an insurance company.
- A strong understanding of data reporting and analysis tools (for example Excel Power Tools, Tableau, Kyvos).
- Professional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent.
