About The RoleThe Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations. Additionally, the Staff Accountant is responsible for supervising other areas within the Finance Department under the direction of the Assistant Director of Finance, including payroll, accounts payable, and general cashiering in accordance with all related local and corporate policies and procedures. The Accounting office structure may vary and responsibilities will be adapted as required.
What We Are Looking For- The ideal candidate is a current Staff Accountant in a similar luxury hotel environment.
- Applicants are highly recommended to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance Management.
- A college degree specializing in finance/accounting is preferred. However, not essential with relevant experience.
- We seek someone who has working knowledge of hotel systems and operations with strong computer skills and excel knowledge.
- Position will be in an office setting environment with a set schedule to be expected.
What To Expect- Frequent travel to assist other Four Seasons properties will be required.
