GA Telesis is seeking a high-energy, self-motivated Financial Analyst to join our Flight Solutions Group. This will support the financial planning, strategy, and deal data analysis budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting as well as financial modeling for internal and Merger & Acquisition that drive the company’s aggregate performance and inform its competitive position. Reporting to the Senior Director of Asset Management, the ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, and valuation analyses to examine strategic alternatives, projected performance, and resource allocation.
- Monitor ongoing financial performance and provide relevant and actionable analysis of key drivers.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external clients, including management, shareholders, and partners.
- Update and follow up on delegated tasks to meet aggressive deadlines.
- Interface with multiple business units on highly variable topics and problems.
- Participate in all aspects of the corporate finance group.
- Take initiative in the absence of a direct report.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or Business Administration.
- 2-3 Years Related Experience.
- Expert with Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of three-statement financial modeling (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow).
- Experience working with ERP, BI, or technology for data analytics.
- Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Impeccable integrity, trustworthiness, and confidentiality.
- Flexibility and the ability to change direction is a plus.
- No previous aviation experience required; interest in aviation beneficial.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Accounting fundamentals and principles.
