Corporate Operations Accounting Manager

Atrium Hospitality is currently recruiting for an experienced Corporate Operations Accounting Manager to provide support to the field accounting teams and administer accounting technologies, and accounting and finance related projects.

Salary Range: $80k- $85K

The Corporate Operations Accounting Manager will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
- Manage and lead Transition Accountants with development, training and performance management objectives;
- Provide support to field accounting for income journals, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting;
- Administer Atrium’s eProcurement and Financial Reporting platforms;
- Execute compliance reports for accounts receivable, purchasing, and daily income journals;
- Assist in internal and external audits working closely with corporate accounting and internal auditors;
- Participate in developing, planning and implementing division goals, benchmarks, innovative programs, courses, policies, and procedures;
- Support all pre-opening financial activities for new and transitioning hotels;
- Train hotel accounting associates and related department heads on accounting policies/procedures and systems; identifying training trends, developments and best practices in accordance with Atrium Core Values;
- Assist in the development and modification of Accounting SOP's;
- Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position.
Qualifications
Required Prior Experience:
- 4+ years’ experience in accounting roles of increasing responsibility
- 2+ years supervisory experience
- 2+ years previous hotel accounting experience
Preferred Prior Experience
Hotel operations leadership experience
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
Preferred Licenses/ Certification
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive Certification
Required Technology
Expert Microsoft Excel, and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
