Position Purpose:
The Manager, Administration and Accounting performs duties in accounting and human resources. Responsible for all administrative functions and staff supervision at the Operating Company (OpCo), including accounting, payroll, human resources, equipment/facilities maintenance, cash control and clerical support. Functions as a team member within the department and organization as required and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Supervises associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
- Oversees following functions to include, but not limited to: credit, accounts payable, billing, and cash application functions; expense invoice processing, and data input; human resources and employee relations functions This may include benefits enrollment, responses to employee inquiries, personnel recordkeeping, and workers' compensation administration; payroll and timekeeping functions; and receptionist, office clerical and filing functions, including maintenance of office equipment and janitorial services.
- Ensures all monthly, quarterly and annual accounting and financial reports are properly prepared and analyzed for OpCo and Corporate financial management, all related transactions are processed on a timely basis, and deadlines are met.
- Ensures appropriate segregation of duties is maintained and appropriate procedures are implemented to properly record all accounting transactions and safeguard company assets. Identifies, defines and implements changes in financial procedures for operating staff.
- Coordinates development of annual budgets and forecasts; analyzes monthly financial results, reports variances and makes appropriate recommendations
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED Or Equivalent Experience
4-6 years accounting or Accounting and Human Resources experience. Team lead or supervisory experience.
