- Prepare/review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for businesses, organizations, and individuals.
- Analyze diverse information, research data, and design workflows and procedures.
- Identify and resolve problems promptly, gather and analyze information proficiently, and develop alternative solutions.
- Provide support for general ledger systems regarding financial and management reporting functions.
- Undertake various tax research projects as required.
- Draft reports, business correspondence, and procedural memorandums.
- Solve practical problems and manage diverse variables in situations with limited standardization.
- Interpret instructions from written, oral, diagrammatic, or scheduled formats.
- Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, seek opportunities for improvement, apply feedback constructively, and monitor your own work for quality.
- Effectively communicate information and address client inquiries.
- Exhibit sound judgment, explain decision rationale, involve appropriate stakeholders in decision-making, and uphold commitments.
- Follow instructions, interact tactfully, respond to management guidance, take ownership of actions, fulfill commitments, and communicate alternative plans promptly.
- Pursue training and development opportunities, continuously expand knowledge and skills, and share expertise with others.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a tax-oriented certified public accountant; a master’s degree in taxation is highly desirable.
