Rockwood is a Monday thru Friday, 8am-5pm Applied Behavior Analysis clinic that offers private education along side the therapy services. We are dedicated to providing our clients the individualized therapy they need to achieve academic success and personal growth.
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst must plan, develop and monitor the various behavior support service delivery options to meet the needs of pediatric clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The BCBA will be responsible for developing skill-acquisition and intervention plans and train/mentor the clinical technicians on delivery of quality therapeutic services to each child.
Responsibilities and Duties of a BCBA
- Conduct skills assessments using ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, AFLS, Vineland, Socially Savvy
- Assess students that require Functional Behavior Assessments and associated screening tools
- Deliver appropriate treatment recommendations based on ethical guidelines outlined by the BACB
- Create and adjust plans for students who require specific behavior interventions
- Participate in education and training programs for students, families, or community groups
- Mentor BHTs, RBTs, and teachers by overseeing their work and professional development
- Coordinate care with members of the student’s teams
- Participate in required and other job-related professional development to improve or maintain certification/skills
- Become proficient in use of EMR (Central Reach) and maintain client records
- Additional duties or tasks to be completed as assigned

Rate of Pay
$60,000 - 65,000 annually depending on prior experience.

Requirements
Board Certified Behavior Analyst should be:
- Able to regularly work 25-40 hours per week
- Reliable transportation
- Must have or be able to obtain by hire a class 1 fingerprint clearance card.
- Must abide by company policies and procedures and sign confidentiality and non-compete agreement.
- Employees must be able to verbally communicate in English. Bilingual a plus.
- Must be willing to work in clinic or 1:1 in clients homes.
Minimum Qualifications to succeed as a BCBA
- Master's degree in psychology, education, speech language, applied behavior analysis, or related
- Current licensed and certified Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, or 2-3 months away from sitting for exam
- Must have or be capable of completing First Aid/CPR training within 90 days of hire
- Maintain a clear criminal record
Physical Demands:
- A BCBA must have full physical dexterity/agility or be able to independently position self and perform all movements required (bending, kneeling, standing for long periods of time)
- Must have sufficient corrected or uncorrected vision to carry out all duties and responsibilities.
- Need to be able to lift and carry pediatric population (weight ranging from 5 to 75 lbs.)
