Vaco is working with an industry-leading manufacturing and distribution company that is looking for a Financial Analyst. We need someone that has several years of experience running reports, analyzing financial numbers, developing insights from the data, and contributing verbal and written information to assist in strategic and operational decision making. This person will have frequent interaction with multiple department leaders throughout the company and will "have a seat at the table" for important finance-related discussions.
This role requires strong skills with Excel and the ability to extract data from various sources and systems, format and smooth the data, then manipulate it in Excel with complex nested formulas, pivot tables, and various lookup functions. We are looking for someone that has extensive experience with dashboarding software like Qlik, PowerBI, and or Tableau. Someone with hands-on experience working with databases and financial systems will do well in this role and there will be a heavy focus on problem solving, variance analysis, and other analytical thinking related projects.
We are also looking for someone who can explain the results of the variance analysis work, in addition to being able to explain and expand on dashboards and information in the reports.

This role will support a 3-location division that is doing two hundred million per year in revenue and is part of a larger international group doing over a billion in annual revenue. Base salary will be in the 90k to 110k range depending on experience plus an annual bonus and 401k match program. Hybrid work schedule with 2 to 3 days in office and 2 to 3 days remote.
