Job Title: Assistant General Manager-Capital Plaza-0170
The AGM supports the GM in achieving the restaurant's objectives and aligning with Frisch's vision of being an outstanding workplace, dining venue, and business. This role is key to staff training and development, cost management, inventory ordering, and assisting in financial planning. The AGM embodies Frisch's culture, demonstrating pride in the brand, and prepares for potential advancement to a GM position.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the GM to gain necessary skills for GM responsibilities during their absence.
- Create a supportive environment for both employees and customers.
- Oversee restaurant operations to ensure product availability and cash control.
- Assist in financial forecasting, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Offer strategies for sales growth, cost control, and waste reduction.
- Support staffing processes, including hiring, firing, and staff development.
- Mentor and guide RMs in training and development practices.
- Ensure adherence to all restaurant policies, safety, security, and maintenance protocols.
- Manage merit increases, pay adjustments, and disciplinary actions for staff.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associates degree or 6 months of management experience in the restaurant industry, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- ServSafe Certification preferred or able to obtain certification prior to completion of training.
- Proficiency in English with strong communication skills.
- Skilled in training, motivating, evaluating, coaching, delegating, and supervising.
- Ability to accurately follow recipes, with strong math and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Capable of prioritizing tasks, managing stress, and handling customer issues professionally.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Position involves significant interaction with customers, working with cooking equipment, and navigating slippery surfaces.
- Requires standing for prolonged periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing various physical activities like bending and climbing.
- Necessary to work in varied temperatures, including refrigerated areas and around hot or cold foods.
