The Finance Analyst for Cytiva is a role that is responsible for providing financial leadership for the organization within the Cell Culture business. The role serves as a business partner to the Product Management team driving growth, business initiatives, and profitability.
This position is part of the Cell Culture Media business located in Logan, UT. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
What you will do:
- Partner with product managers, leaders, and commercial teams. Providing top line analytics, including top customer sales trends, weekly & monthly projections, and bookings & funnel reviews.
- Partner with pricing and costing teams to drive margin expansion and improve overall business profitability.
- Assist in assembling weekly & monthly forecasts, financial reports, and annual budget setting.
- Drive data analysis, ad hoc solutions, and business case development for key projects and their impact to the performance of the business.
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- A minimum of five (5) years of financial work experience, including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business / finance reviews.
- Clear thinking and problem solving: successfully driven cross-functional project improvements within broader business operations.
- Strong analytical & PC skills: ability to work with big data and pull out the important facts, problems, trends, and present key findings.
- Excellent communication skills: experience working across multiple functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information in an easy to understand manner.
It would be a plus if you also possess or have previous experience in:
- CPA, MBA, or MS in Operations management, Supply Chain, or Finance.
- Ability to operate and navigate within a matrixed environment.
- Confidence / Assertiveness: strong influencing skills across business functions; confidence to approach business leaders with difficult messages and defend positions.
- Creates energy to deliver company goals through creation and comprehensive communication of practical “hands-on” plans and strategies.
