Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Budget and Financial Analyst assists in the development of the annual operating budgets and periodic forecasting processes. Prepares all financial statements and provides variance analyses for management. Acts as a liaison between Finance and other departments, assisting with education and interpretation of financial information. Provides support for special projects, including operational analyses, financial projections for business expansion, and financial analysis for mergers and acquisitions. Develops capital rationalization processes to support management decisions regarding capital expenditures. Responsible for development and ongoing maintenance of corporate financial reporting.
- Assists with the annual budgeting process.
- Develop and maintain monthly forecasts by company and communicate with leadership on business opportunities and risks.
- Prepare all monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc financial reporting statements for internal stakeholders.
- Assists with preparing month-end narratives on operational performance for all business units.
- Assist in the design and preparation of a monthly Management Reporting Package when needed.
- Coordinate obtaining business driver information from operating units and convert data into resulting financial costs and performance.
- Perform regular and ad-hoc evaluations of present and expected financial performance.

- Work closely with Accounting counterparts to understand revenue and A/R variability on the income statement.
- Partner with business units to understand their needs for financial information and support and assist with developing tools to provide requested information.
- Suggest and participate in process improvement projects, offering skills and insights to bring value to the organization by leveraging InnovAge reporting infrastructure.
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.
- Perform periodic cost modeling.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required.
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited college/university
- 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient with financial report writing and budgeting tools
- Skill and experience in providing forward-thinking and creative ideas with high ethical standards
- Advanced MS Excel
PREFERRED:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting or finance responsibility within the health care industry
- Experience with PACE
- Experience with Claims and A/R Analytics - utilization, costing, and price volume variance
Posted Salary Range: USD $98,600.00 - USD $108,000.00 /Yr.
