Job Summary

This position reports to the Applications Manager, Information Systems. Analyzes the primary acute and ambulatory EHR system as well as all other supporting financial system issues, interfaces, testing requirements, implementation processes, user requests, and support activities. This individual participates and/or leads in the development of workflows, system configuration, application deployment and support, change documentation and support of staff on application functionality. The individual must have a good understanding of technical infrastructure when applicable, such as networking, data interfaces, and server configuration. Plans and coordinates system updates to ensure timely completion. Supports the functional aspects of systems including Meditech and other related financial modules and systems. Interacts closely with Accounting, Patient Billing, Registration, Materials Management, and other departments in the hospital. Senior level projects are defined by a substantial level of scope and complexity and incumbents typically simultaneously lead multiple projects to completion.

Minimum Requirements

College degree preferred in Accounting or related disciplines.
Experience with EHR systems, preferably Meditech.
This position requires communication and interaction with co-workers, other departments, and vendors.
Make decisions relating to Data Processing operations, user requests for work and be able to set forth work priorities.
Programming, systems design, and report development experience also desirable.
