What You’ll Get to Do:
As a CACI-SOAS USAREUR-AF Watch Analyst, you will support US Army Europe/Africa G2 and other Intelligence related mission partners, as a key team member of a complex program that provides professional services in support of advisory and analysis efforts associated with Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWfF) mission areas. The USAREUR-AF TMISS Team will research, analyze, and produce near- and long-term all source assessments on terrorism/counterterrorism, and multi-discipline counter-intelligence issues in response to CG USAREUR-AF’s priority intelligence requirements and to enable U.S. and foreign partner counterintelligence operations. You will be a member of a team that supports the Intelligence Directorate of the Army Component Command of both the US European Command and US Africa Command.
More About the Role:
As a CACI SOAS USAREUR-AF Watch Analyst, you will embed at Clay Kaserne in Wiesbaden, Federal Republic of Germany and may travel within both theaters as required, to perform services at locations within the USEUCOM or USAFRICOM AOR or Area of Interest (AOI) to meet mission requirements in both CONUS and OCONUS locations. These positions are contingent upon SOFA approval or commensurate work-Visa requirements at the primary place of duty. Employee must be willing to work shifts, overtime, and/or deploy to austere or hostile fire zones as required.
Other duties of the Watch Analyst will include but are not limited to:
- Monitor and retrieve finished intelligence reporting through email and from source websites. Compile and distribute a tailored daily theater intelligence product up to SECRET//NOFORN level, addressing USAREUR-AF Priority Intelligence Requirements (PIR).
- Utilize the daily intelligence products to prepare, construct, and deliver a Weekly Current Intelligence Update to the USAREUR-AF Commanding General and the assembled USAREUR-AF Staff up to the SECRET//REL TO USA, NATO level.
- Monitor Open-Source News Reporting for threat items of interest that can be included in the Weekly or daily Current Intelligence update, considering the volume of classified reporting and available time.
- Receive and disseminate threat messages from USEUCOM J2 reporting channels, ensuring efficient and timely distribution.
- During exercises, monitor and track threat unit locations, and assist in the creation and maintenance of a threat Common Intelligence Picture via PowerPoint and/or Command Post of the Future (CPOF).
- Respond to phone calls and emails, receiving, tracking, and providing timely answers to Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Monitor daily G2 Operations and aid in the preparation and briefing of a Running Estimate for the USAREUR-AF G2 and Senior Leaders, fostering situational awareness regarding current intelligence operations.
- Provide updates on Current Intelligence Operations to USEUCOM J2 and HQDA G2 as required, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Conduct complex data analysis, provide intelligence support, and deliver emergency notifications for incoming time-sensitive messages, facilitating rapid decision-making.
- Assist in tracking G2 tasks and monitoring completion status, ensuring effective task management and accountability.
- Maintain NIPR, SIPR, MPE, and JWICS accounts, as well as manage access to and the closure of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), ensuring proper security protocols.
- Maintain an official G2 Watch Log to accurately document all qualifying information/events received and actions taken by the Watch.
- Conduct initial triage of information within the USAREUR-AF Area of Responsibility (AOR), identifying events that meet Commander's Critical Information Requirements (CCIR) criteria.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a related field and 3 years of specialized experience; OR Bachelor's degree in a related field and 6 years of specialized experience; OR 10 years of specialized experience.
- Current TS-SCI Clearance
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Recent military experience in a Combatant Command Operational Watch Organization
- Experience with All-source analysis, particularly within the EUCOM and/or AFRICOM AORs
- Experience creating daily intelligence briefing materials using multiple sources, and writing/editing for multiple classification levels and multiple seniority levels.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $82,100 - 172,400 USD
