Silver Airways, a leading regional airline headquartered in Hollywood, FL, is hiring a fulltime Financial Analyst who will support Silver’s Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) group. The Financial Analyst's objective is improvement of our short and long-term forecasting accuracy, financial performance, and accountability to financial and operating objectives. The Financial Analyst performs as a shared resource with Accounting to research variances, formulate accrual methodologies, and analyze vendor spending, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of deliverables of the Finance and Accounting groups.
Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- Reporting Expert: Develops and maintains the accuracy and integrity of the FP&A monthly reporting packages. Responsible for delivering scheduled management reports, which include monthly close reporting and the metrics summary.
- Key Accounting resource: Facilitates monthly close, accrual reconciliation, vendor research, and capital spending classifications.
