Cost Planning & Analysis is responsible for accounting and reporting of Global Greetings' financial results using legacy systems, SAP, and the Hyperion business performance suite. The financial information provided will be used by all levels of management for various presentations and reports for internal and external audiences.
What This Role Entails And How You’ll Contribute
The Financial Analyst in Cost Planning & Analysis is responsible for ensuring the accurate management reporting and planning of Cost of Goods Sold and Inventory. Duties include creating month-end reconciliations, reviewing data and creating journal entries in SAP, researching and resolving any issues with Cost of Goods Sold and Inventory, preparing reports monthly and ad-hoc, and helping with miscellaneous projects as assigned. This position provides the opportunity to work in a team environment focused on efficiency, process improvement, and delivery of high quality services. The Financial Analyst will also work with various business partners including Supply Chain, Accounting and internal/external Auditors.
This is a progressive role that will be filled at the level based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.
Basic Qualifications
The following is required to be considered for this role:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience using Microsoft 365 (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- Ability to collaborate and problem solve with business partners
- Hyperion Experience
- SAP experience
- Superior analytical and problem solving skills
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills among the various levels of management

This hybrid position is located out of our headquarters office in Kansas City, MO. Team works on-site 1-2 days per month.
