Job Summary: Sevan is seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics D365 Finance/SCM Business Analyst to directly interface with business leaders with responsibilities for Requirements Gathering, Test Plan Development, Systems Documentation, Project Planning, and Client/End-User Engagement. This role reports to the Director of Business Solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Design business solutions and process requirements for all IT-related business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions.
- Gather and analyze data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems improvements.
- Validate business/systems processes through careful testing to maximize the benefit of business investments in IT initiatives.
- Review business needs, researching potential solutions and providing solid process and technical recommendations.
- Gathering/Developing functional design specifications.
- Execute testing, use-case scripts.
- Perform gap analysis.
- Design program specific reports and queries for clients.
- Perform and/or manage conference room pilots.
- Perform staff & user training.
- Communicate project status with the customer and Sevan management.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree from a two-year or four-year College or University and four years of experience as a Business Analyst, Solutions Architect, or Functional Consultant.
- Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance/SCM, or Microsoft Dynamics AX is required.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship skills.
- Able to manage multiple deadlines in a timely manner.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
Work Conditions and Travel:
This is a hybrid role out of our Downers Grove, IL headquarters. Regularly required to sit; occasionally required to stand; walk; occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds; noise level is usually quiet. Travel on an as-needed basis (0-10%).
