Assistant Controller

Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, OR 5+ years relevant experience
- 5+ years of accounting experience with the ability to handle AR, AP, GL, and Payroll functions routinely
- Experience creating and preparing C-level financial presentations and recommendations
- Desire and ability tackle expanded workload to prepare for promotion and future internal growth
- Advanced experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- A polished ability to communicate, present, and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- A self-starter with a distinct interest in using talents to drive the growth of an organization
- An entrepreneurial mindset and desire to operate independently in a start-up-like environment
- Excellent at time management

Roles & Responsibilities
- Create financial reporting based on both ad-hoc and routine requests
- Create AR, AP & GL entries
- Routinely reconcile financials, bookings, and bank accounts
- Actively participate in month-end close
- Process payroll semi-monthly
- Participate in annual budget setting and planning
