Position Summary
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing accounting activities. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and providing accurate financial reporting. Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance in a non-profit organization, with a demonstrated progression of increasing responsibility.
- Advanced in Microsoft Excel; experience with Netsuite and/or QuickBooks is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and familiarity with non-profit industry standards.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Non-profit grant and/or contracts experience; a plus.
