Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is seeking a qualified Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst (Level 3) to join our team of high performing, diverse individuals. This position will be located on site in Clearfield, UT with a hybrid work schedule.
The Aerospace Structures Business Unit within the Air Dominance Division is a fast paced, dynamic, and complex environment that requires a candidate to possess self-initiative, strong analytical skills, and solid leadership characteristics. Candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Leading the Systems Administration duties within the NGAS Earned Value tool (Cobra)
- Experience in full earned value and EV light government contracting requirements including CDRLs, reconciliations and Cost and Schedule Integration checks
- Preparation of budgets and schedules for contract work and perform and/or assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
- Drive performance analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of expenditures, direct preparation of expenditure projections, and submit timely requests for additional funding to the government
- Understand cost and rate analysis to develop EACs and financial inputs
- Develop common processes and tools across various programs, meeting the needs for a global alignment while satisfying specific program desires
- Maintain common Business Unit tools and enhancements as well as provide training on these tools
- Understand the setup of cost control systems (e.g. Costpoint and COBRA) and incorporate changes into the EVMS system to maintain cost and schedule baselines
- Prepare for audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management
- Prepare government cost performance reports and performance measurement variance analysis as required
- Experience with Earned Value Management Program and familiarity with EIA-748 ANSI EV Guideline Reviews, and SOX Controls
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s degree with 3 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of proven experience in program control, cost planning, scheduling, business, finance, and/or similar industry related fields
- Experience utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) principles and practices
- Possess intermediate to advanced skills working in Deltek systems like Cobra and/or MPM
- Advanced with MS Office including Excel (with Macros, Pivot tables and VLOOKUP) and PowerPoint
- Experience successfully supporting a DoD monthly reporting & financial rhythm
- Ability to work on site in Clearfield, Utah
Applicable experience in Earned Value Management, Deltek Systems and Excel must be listed on your resume in order to be considered for the role.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one
- Experience with SAP and/or Costpoint
- Understanding of and experience with providing support to Integrated Product Teams (IPT)
- Experience in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs)
- Candidate must gain and have an understanding of, and adherence to, company policies, procedures and internal controls

Salary Range: $76,600 - $115,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
