We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and talented individual to join our firm as a Public Finance Banker. Public Finance Bankers work as an integral part of the Public Finance Team, fostering new and existing client relationships. Possess a strong focus on client service, integrity, values, and trust. In collaboration with the team, aid in preparation of financial analysis, valuation work, strategic financial research, and complex modeling for materials used in client presentations or for upcoming transactions.
As a Public Finance Banker, you will:
- Drive and lead transaction execution in collaboration with the Public Finance team including financial analysis, official statement review, presentation review and preparation, adhering to prescribed compliance/legal process and completion of regulatory deal files.
- Have primary account coverage responsibility, generating minimum annual revenue of $1.5M for Managing Directors, $1.0M Directors, and $0.5M Associate Bankers. Ability to demonstrate a 3–5-year history of such revenues.
- Work as an integral part of the Public Finance Team, responsibly leveraging national resources in quantitative analysis and marketing.
- Prepare and/or review complex financial modeling, analyzing financial options available using a variety of financial tools, including variable and fixed rate debt, refunding, and restructurings.
- Prepare materials used in the sale, acquisition, and/or financing of clients.
- Prepare investment memoranda and management presentations.
- Foster relationships with existing and potential clients to generate new business.
- Participate in pitches and management presentation meetings.

What we look for:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, public administration, or related fields preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience within public finance sectors.
- Relevant FINRA licenses (SIE, 50, 52, 63) or ability to obtain licensing within 6 months of hire. Series 7 is acceptable in place of Series 52, if obtained prior to November 7, 2011.
- Strong existing client relationships with history of consistent revenue generation.
