Position Summary:
This position is primarily responsible for providing leadership, management, and accountability for the Community 3rd Party Originations (C3PO) group in addition to underwriting responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Underwriting:
- Monitor incoming applications for the department and present reports as needed to the leadership team.
- Review applications, clear conditions and make solid credit decisions on loans.
- Business Development:
- Work with the team to onboard and train new clients to maintain and strengthen those relationships.
- Processes/Procedures/Guidelines:
- Review current processes and procedures and make recommendations on ways to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Compliance:
- Assist and take lead as needed in response to audit monitoring and exams.
- Ensure department complies with company policy and regulations, especially as related to HMDA.
- Training:
- Responsible for the development of new and existing team members.

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate Degree is preferred but not required.
- Solid knowledge and experience in credit risk analysis and underwriting principles, methods, and practices, especially as related to Specialty Lending or Manufactured Housing.
- Previous credit underwriting or credit analysis experience preferred.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel.
- Sales experience preferred or working knowledge of relationship building.
