ABOUT THE JOBWe are seeking a Director of Finance Business Partnering in Knoxville, TN. Chosen as the location for our Vision Center Campus, the hub of our customer experience activities, Knoxville is often described as a hidden gem. This role will help lead Cirrus through continued growth. This individual will be responsible for partnering with all business units across the Customer Experience Team and Innovation & Operations to collaborate in problem-solving and drive performance improvements, including advancing and developing analysis for new business opportunities. The selected candidate will lead a team of analysts with the potential to grow in depth and/or breadth as business needs for financial leadership continue to grow.
Oversee a team of analysts who partner with senior business leaders across the organization to execute advancements in profitability, predictability, adherence to business planning, and strategic direction.
Provide variance reporting both to budget, forecast, and strategic plan, identifying gaps, risks, and countermeasures
Design test cases for significant business decisions to confirm hypothesizes and expected results
Provide mentorship to the team, expanding capabilities, developing a career path, and transforming into future leaders within the company, including a potential rotational program with new graduate candidates
Distill complex problems, concepts, and challenges into simple and actionable direction
Work closely with the accounting team to analyze results, reveal inefficiencies, and devise business and reporting enhancements
Collaborate with FP&A for all planning cycles, including budgeting and short- and long-range forecasting, supporting business units as they develop and rationalize their planning
Improve execution in entry into new lines of business and/or significant business process enhancements, ensuring Cirrus engages in long-term accretive expansion
Function as key liaison to ensure Finance and Accounting are engaged in all new business changes and transformations
Identify key risks and work with Internal Controls to ensure Cirrus has appropriate mitigation measures in place
Take initiative to identify and “dig in” to problems across the enterprise, prosing and building consensus to deliver solutions
Liaison between FP&A, Accounting, and Business Units to help develop actional reporting and dashboards in Power BI to review performance, track business health, and identify leading indicators for future action
Work closely between Accounting and Business Units to improve internal financial processes and develop robust new processes for new endeavors
Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
Travel requirements are estimated at 25%, including the need to travel internationally.
ABOUT YOURequired Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or MBA preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in Finance and Accounting, with increasing responsibility; seven years of demonstrated leadership experience.
