As a valued team member of the Corporate accounting team, the Senior Accountant II will provide support to all sales, marketing, and G&A business owners. This role will assist the Corporate Accounting Manager and Controller with financial reporting. The ideal candidate will produce thorough financial status reports for senior managers among other responsiblities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the GAAP Corporate Accounting Manager and Controller in all aspects of accounting, both GAAP and Management
- Manage the month-end close process and complete following the closing schedule
- Summarize financial status by preparing departmental trends and net contribution reports
- Analyze financial results and provide fluctuation analysis
- Prepare and analyze complex GAAP/MGMT entries by analyzing and organizing large data sets
- Bring understanding to the data to support journal entries and/or account reconciliations
- Maintain, balance, and resolve discrepancies on various consolidating balance sheet accounts
- Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data points
- Assist with the annual audit among other responsibilities

Experience
- Adept in analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to exercise soundand logical judgment
- Deadline-driven. Works well under pressure,especially during the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP/MGMT financial statements
- Ability to adapt to change
- Excellent Communication, both written and oral
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Proficient in Smartview financial reporting or similar software is a plus
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years’ relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
