Fundamental Job Duties
- Ability to partner with all levels of the organization, including VP and Sr. Director levels in all functional departments to develop compelling annual, quarterly, and monthly financial plans.
- Responsible for providing finance support to key departments, such as Signature by Levi Strauss and Dockers brand A&P and operations.
- Prepare monthly journal entries in compliance with US GAAP for areas including (but not limited to) prepaid expenses, accruals, and reclasses.
- Maintain the Eugene FP&A team’s prepaid OPEX account by completing monthly amortization and capturing prepaid additions.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations.
- Update monthly cost center reporting for individual budget owners, leaders, and finance lead. Provide variance commentary identifying specific drivers in all reporting.
- Complete ad-hoc analysis when requested by budget owners, HR business partners, and finance. Research expenses by providing reconciliations of movements between internal orders, cost centers, GLs, and provide purchase order invoices/contract/statement of work support.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to multi-task. Work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to adapt to change.
- Prepare reporting and perform financial processes to ensure timely and accurate financial and operational information.
- Proactively identify and facilitate business process and systems improvements to enhance reporting and analysis.
- Improve efficiencies through process automation, streamlining, centralization, and standardization.
- Coordinate between shared services teams, corporate and local finance support teams to support FP&A and controllership-related projects.
Requirements
- 2 - 3 years experience in FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance
- Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in financial reporting and analysis, forecasting, budget management, and development of controls and procedures
- Degree in finance or accounting required. MBA, MAcc, or CPA a plus.
- Strong US GAAP accounting knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills: high attention to detail, consistent follow through
- Strong MS Office and Excel skills; experience with Hyperion Essbase and SAP a plus
- Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a matrix environment while developing effective relationships and achieving results.
- Self-starter: proactive, creative, resourceful, decisive, resilient
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment; ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical and process development skills with the ability to provide actionable recommendations
- Ability to influence others in a productive manner to improve business processes and results
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate financial results to senior management and non-financial audiences

The expected starting salary range for this role is $57,000 to $75,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, performance and business needs.
