Volt is immediately hiring for an experienced Accounts Payable person in Riverside/Inland Empire, CA.
About the role:
Client is looking for an Accounts Payable Staff. The Accounts Payable staff will be responsible for timely and accurate payment of Clients' Inventory bills. They will use Netsuite and Excel to ensure a three-way match between purchase order, item receipt, and vendor is completed timely and accurately. When differences exist between PO, Receipt, and Bill, this person will be responsible for contacting the vendor and obtaining credit for differences. In addition, they will help in calculating and collecting vendor funding based upon agreements with suppliers. This person will also be responsible for reviewing and recording corporate credit card transactions to ensure proper approvals were obtained and costs are recorded accurately.
Responsibilities:
- Perform three-way match between PO, Receipt, and Invoice.
- Request credit from vendors relating to difference in three-way match.
- Review and record corporate credit card transactions ensuring appropriate approvals and accurate accounting for charges.
- Bill suppliers for agreed-to vendor funding amounts.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers by replying to inquiries timely, accurately, and professionally.
- Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Verify supplier accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
Requirements:
This candidate should be able to work in a fast-scaling but collegial environment where teamwork is a must. The right candidate will be flexible, action and results-oriented, and self-starting.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Office).
- Proficiency in Adobe.
- Experience using NetSuite ERP would be a plus.
- Ability to resolve issues regarding PO, Receipts, and Invoice.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Strong communication skills both oral and written.
This position is remote but must live local to Riverside/Moreno Valley, CA.
Must be flexible with hours, can work less or more than 8 hrs.
Pay rate is $23-25/hr DOE.
