Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Staff Accountant to join our team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting and other administrative operations of our office. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and attention to detail.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- Full-time, Exempt Position
- Fully On-Site in Henderson, Nevada
- Days and typical hours of work are: Monday through Friday, Flexible work schedule with core hours and 1hr lunch
Responsibilities:
- Manage office budgets and expenses, tracking expenditures and preparing financial reports as needed.
- Verify and maintain the accuracy of daily transactions and keep records of proper supporting documentation
- Assist outside accounting firm in preparation of audits, reviews, financial statements, and tax returns
- Manage payroll within the guidelines of the company policy while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Resolve correspondence from tax jurisdictions
- Assist in automating processes and procedures
- Prepare monthly transaction reports for management
- Manage corporate credit card programs
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with office supplies management, procurement processes, and order fulfillment processes.
- Assist with office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Keep current with business insurances, licenses, statements, renewals, and related business requirements.
- Perform HR compliance tasks such as employee employment authorization, employment verification, record-keeping, and benefits administration.
- Inventory management including performing periodic physical inventories.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Accounting or related field required.
- 2 years of office administrative experience is preferred.
- 1 year of payroll experience is preferred.
