The Opportunity:
The Senior Analyst, BPA is responsible for gathering requirements, streamlining, and supporting the delivery of process automation. This role requires both TPO (technology process optimization) experience, as well as RPA (robotic process automation).
Daily operations will consist of:
- Facilitating discovery workshops and independently applying a broad range of theories, concepts, principles, and methodologies to assignments involving complex features to examine and identify data patterns and trends to help improve business decision-making.
- Tracking and monitoring key performance indicators for each automation opportunity to ensure benefit realization.
- Collaboration with Automation developers on automation architecture and technology design.
- Create automation business cases, outlines inputs, outputs, business variables and measures of success with focus on Revenue Cycle and Financial performance.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for gathering requirements and analyzing processes for automation, accurately, thoroughly and timely, typically on larger more complex scope of work.
- Provides coaching and mentoring to Analysts I and II as well as peer review of work and documentation.
- Identifies opportunities for automation use cases and educates the business on what makes a viable automation opportunity.
- Independently facilitates discovery workshops for complex automation programs, including managing stakeholders, leading LSS process improvement activities, and supporting automation design best practices.
- Assists in the creation of automation design documents to support business decision-making, process streamlining, automation development and performance improvement.
- Creates automation business cases to document automation ROI.
- Partners with engineers and project managers to create timelines of automation development and business validation to leadership.
- Assists in the creation of automation roadmap; executes upon automation initiatives and delivery of timelines for themselves and other Analysts as needed.
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders clearly, timely and professionally, both in writing and verbally.
- Independently problem solve to remove blockers, identify risks and create mitigation plans, and escalate timely.
- High-level knowledge of RPA capabilities and RevCycle management.
- Work requires the ability to ensure the confidentiality and rights of patients and the confidentiality of hospital and departmental documents.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 5-7 years of professionally related experience (in RCM Healthcare)
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
- 2 to 4 years of previous experience in a Business Analyst role
- Ability to work independently, take full ownership over scope of work with little guidance
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with RPA tools such as Power Automate, UI Path, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.
- Mastery of Excel
- General knowledge of SQL and Databases
- Ability to coach, mentor, and provide feedback to junior associates
- Ability to effectively and clearly communicate in writing and verbally
- Ability to lead and influence
