The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. Membership Portfolio Services is responsible for developing and scaling several growing businesses that are strategically important to American Express. Each of the businesses within Membership Portfolio Services connects Card Members with Merchants - a key differentiator of our Membership Model - and which also represent a significant opportunity to help drive our growth over the mid-to-long term.
Amex Offers sits within the Membership Portfolio Services Team.
Launched in 2012, Amex Offers is a digital advertising platform that connects Merchants, Advertisers and brands with the tens of millions of American Express Card Members across the globe. The Amex Offers team develops strategic marketing partnerships that deliver – through the Amex offers platform - unique differentiated value to reach high-spending Card Members in the digital channels where they engage with American Express. Through this solution, we can help advertisers get laser-focused on who our mutual customers are, what they want, and how we can meet their needs - delivering deep insights and maximizing results.
How will you make an impact in this role?
This Senior Analyst position will support the maintenance and implementation of the overall program vision for Amex Offers globally, assisting in defining and communicating what winning looks like across Operations, Sales, Card Member Marketing, Tech and Capabilities. This position will assist as a centralized point of contact across Amex Offers stakeholders to ensure program deliverables are appropriately tracked and communicated throughout the ongoing Amex Offers Transformation, ensuring transparency across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop impactful presentation & reporting packages for varying audiences to communicate key accomplishments, upcoming milestones, and watch out areas throughout program lifecycle.
- Drive accountability across Amex Offers stakeholders by assisting in providing clear expected business goals & objectives, and projected timelines to be met for net new capabilities.
- Partner with Analytics to refine multi-year sales targets and goals across all impacted markets, including evolving the program scorecard, reporting packages, and platform OKRs/KPIs.
- Provide monthly tracking on platform OKRs & program goals, delivering key insights and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Influence and guide program strategy & vision by conducting qualitative and quantitative market research, as needed.
- Coordinate across teams to link ongoing and new initiatives and capabilities to high-level roadmap, driving efficiency across platform resources.
Minimum Qualifications
- Strategic thinker who can help develop a vision linked to organizational goals, and translate that vision into key actions.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to clearly advise on progress, roadblocks, and successfully drive project momentum.
- Dynamic in nature, and able to quickly pivot priorities when required.
- Ability to build strong internal relationships & influence key partners while thriving in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding problem-solving & written, and oral communication skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Strong PowerPoint experience preferred.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a marketing, consulting, or strategy team.
Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
