Responsibilities
SUMMARY: Responsible for the management of pricing and item attributes for named accounts. Actively participates in the RFP process for new and existing business cases and participates in the implementation and ongoing price and attribute management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage named accounts by implementing new business, cost improvements, providing quote support and ensuring the proper management of price and item attributes.
- Review supplier cost changes against items managed in Sales Prices and work with Proposal Teams to implement necessary changes.
- Analyze margin holds related to items managed in Sales Prices for Proposal Teams and determine necessary action required.
- Work with numerous departments within KGP to meet and exceed customer expectations, including assisting with vendor and purchase order issues, customer pricing contracts, service requests, and product management/sourcing.
- Partner with Sourcing Managers to provide requirements related to customer contract pricing terms and conditions.
- Ownership of pricing for named accounts, including rebate administration, assisting with supplier negotiations and management of margin and/or mark-ups.
- Responsible for the customer sync processes.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills and conduct data analysis.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the Company.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add and subtract 10-digit numbers, to multiply and divide with tens and hundreds; ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
REASONING ABILITY: No major critical thinking required. Work follows established job aids and business rules. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form; ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
