As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the financial accounting & controls for the business. The primary responsibilities of the role will include facilitating the monthly close process and ensuring the proper maintenance of accounting controls and processes.
Essential Functions

- Support monthly accounting close process for the business.
- Prepare key accounting analyses and related journal entries, account reconciliations and management reports.
- Preparations of financial statistics and information at appropriate daily, weekly, and monthly intervals.
- Support business projects from an accounting and control perspective.
- Support a strong control environment. Hold self and others accountable for continuous improvement for internal controls.
In addition to the essential functions listed above, the incumbent may perform the following additional functions:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 1-5 years of experience in public accounting or relevant industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and the ability to apply them to recurring transactions.
- Excellent prioritization & organizational skills to manage multiple deliverables.
- Verbal & written communication skills that provide direct, succinct messages and can be understood by financial and non-financial business partners.
- Ability to identify areas of improvement and work with management to optimize processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with SAP.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
