Concentric Corporation is currently seeking a talented Senior Accountant for our client in the Omaha area.
The Senior Accountant plays a key leadership role, collaborating with firm leadership to provide top-tier attestation and tax services to clients. Senior Accountants will enhance their expertise across multiple sectors, mastering audit strategies, attestation methodologies, tax compliance, and tax planning opportunities. They will also mentor and guide junior staff members on various projects while ensuring high-quality client service and contributing to the overall success of the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, lead, and manage all phases of attestation engagements, including audits, reviews, and compilations, primarily for small to medium-sized clients. Take the lead on many phases of larger client engagements.
- Oversee multiple tax projects, ensuring compliance with tax codes and regulations. Guide team members in preparing various tax returns for individuals, businesses, nonprofits, and trusts, including sales tax and other tax-related filings.
- Serve as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance, fostering teamwork, and maintaining open communication. Delegate work effectively and conduct performance reviews for team members.
- Anticipate client needs, offer proactive solutions, and consistently demonstrate creative leadership in solving complex client issues. Initiate and lead improvements to enhance project outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Ensure all work adheres to professional quality standards, is accurate, and meets deadlines. Lead in maintaining transparency and effective communication within project teams.
- Assist in developing internal training programs, such as CPE sessions, to foster continuous learning and professional development within the firm.
- Demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently, prioritize tasks, and respond quickly to changing circumstances or client demands.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA certification or near completion.
- 3-5 years of public accounting experience, with a strong background in attestation, tax accounting, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills, with strict attention to detail and efficiency.
- Solid communication skills, with a strong client-facing presence and the ability to articulate complex concepts.
- Proficiency in accounting and tax software systems.
