Your Role: FP&A Manager
Ampirical is seeking an experienced financial leader to head our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is pivotal in providing accurate financial forecasts, insightful analysis, and strategic financial recommendations to support decision-making and growth initiatives.

Who You Are:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Master’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field preferred
- Proven experience in FP&A, financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong track record in strategic financial planning and operational management.
- Prior experience in the engineering, energy, or utilities sectors is preferred.
- Experience in private equity-backed companies is a plus.
- Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Preferred Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and FP&A Certification from the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP)
Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and Optimize Budgeting: Own the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with Ampirical’s strategic goals. Collaborate with department heads to develop accurate budgets and provide variance analysis throughout the year.
- Drive Forecasting: Establish a dynamic forecasting process with regular revisions based on evolving business conditions. Develop rolling forecasts, and create financial models to simulate scenarios for proactive decision-making.
- Monthly Reporting & Board Packs: Prepare monthly financial reports for management and board packs, highlighting key metrics and trends. Communicate financial insights to support strategic discussions.
- Support Business Performance: Build and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor Ampirical’s performance. Collaborate with project managers to align financial forecasting with company goals.
- Enhance Financial Systems: Assess current financial systems, recommend improvements, and implement new financial tools to streamline budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
