Job Description
In this position, you will play a key role in impacting programs & business for the organization. You will work with a core team of individuals from our operations and application development team. You will also participate in business process improvement, quality assurance and oversight, and customer engagements. You must have a strong drive, attention to detail, and a collaborative work style. Reports to VP IT.
Responsibilities
- Gather requirements by reviewing contract resources and engaging program stakeholders using Microsoft SharePoint/Teams channel.
- Develop or utilize standard templates for requirement specifications, workflows, testing, training and reporting.
- Translate business case requirements for programs into well-architected, detailed technical specifications and functional requirement documents.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure development, enhancements, and projects are prioritized and executed as scheduled.
- Work with the development and technical teams to understand the data architecture and data models as per business requirements.
- Document and support communication between relevant groups and stakeholders, and capture requirements needed to initiate a change.
- Work with training team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to help develop a change management/training plan.
- Coordinate and assist with Application Testing & QA activities.
- Provide application demos to prospects and departments as needed.
- Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to assist programs & business.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business or related field or an MBA.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.
