We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to provide ongoing support of Hospital Operations in the decision process of proving services including investments in existing and new services.

Requirements:
To be seriously considered for this role, you’ll need to have:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the healthcare or hospital industry.
- Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of financial systems and healthcare regulations
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial analysis tools
- Prefer Revenue Cycle and Epic knowledge
Responsibilities:
As the Senior Financial Analyst at Gunnison Valley Health, you will support upper management in financial decision making. You’ll develop and maintain service line cost accounting and profitability analysis while providing Revenue Cycle analysis and support. You’ll utilize your unique skills and ideas by:
- Administering the Gunnison Valley Health decisions support system working with Information Services, Accounting, Administration and the chosen vendor.
- Developing cost studies and assigning RVU measures to provide profitability analysis at the service line, product, physician and payor level.
- Providing detailed level analysis and business plans for senior and mid-level decision makers.
- Negotiating with managed care payors on new amendments to existing contracts.
- Collaborating with department heads and senior management to understand and interpret financial data.
Compensation: $1522.40 - $1826.80/week, depending on experience.
