Description:
The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support strategic financial planning.
Essential Duties:
- Perform general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.
- Prepares periodic (monthly) balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Maintains the general ledger.
- Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books.
- Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections.
- Verifies payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
- Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit/review.
- Ensures that reported financial results comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Presents recommendations to management on financial objectives and policies.
- Provides financial analysis to operations leadership.
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Requirements:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
- CPA certification preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience required.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience leading an accounting team.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
