Oxford Financial Group, Ltd. is hiring a Wealth Advisor that may be located in one of the following office locations: Indianapolis, Grand Rapids, Chicago or Cincinnati.
Position Summary:
The Wealth Advisor serves as the lead advisor to existing individual clients as well as to G2/G3 of UHNW multi-generational families.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Relationship Management
- Participate in face to face as well as virtual client meetings, providing clients with information/education about the purpose and details of their unique financial plan
- Work directly alongside Managing Director to discuss, strategize, and deliver timely and comprehensive wealth planning advice to current and prospective clients
- Maintain, deepen, and expand relationships with existing clients through ongoing communication and interaction
- Delegate tasks to appropriate internal team members to ensure seamless execution of client’s wealth plan
- Have ability to focus on continuing education including internal meetingsand external events/seminars
- Troubleshoots client issues and directs effort to conclusion
- Responsible for overseeing the Client Meeting Preparation
- Assists in prepares meeting preparation guides, agendas, IPS workflows and reviews meeting files prior to scheduled meetings
- Oversees all delegation and client follow-up letters
- Coordinates and reviews all internal delegations for accuracy and completeness
- Reviews recommendations and implementation strategies developed by technical teams with the Managing Director
- Monitors and helps enhance client profitability
Administrative
- Completes TimeTracker entries timely and accurately
- Reads, handles and responds to email and voicemail messages
- Attends team and firm meetings including round table discussions
- Stays current with technical developments
- Participates in formal education/training to enhance areas of expertise, technical skills and leadership/management skills
- Strives to increase technical skills through personal research/reading
- Completes special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- College degree in a related field with five to seven years relevant work experience
- CFP or Series 65 required
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Must have strong analytical skills; the ability to interpret/analyze data and accurate attention to detail
- Must have industry expertise and high level of knowledge in personal financial planning concepts
- Must have the ability to read and understand legal documents
- Must have a professional demeanor with the utmost respect for confidential matters
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
- Must have strong work ethic with a positive attitude
- Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Must have ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:
- Limited travel as business needs necessitates
- Extended periods of sitting, utilizing a computer
