Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst to work in our Aurora, CO location. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with applicable security regulations and leading or providing support for various Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting a fast-paced high-profile program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Oversee classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with applicable security regulations.
- Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies/procedures.
- Assist program managers and professional staff in the interpretation, application, and compliance with program Security Classification Guides (SCG).
- Provide program security and personnel security (PERSEC) support including review and process required documentation; prepare and administer program indoctrination and debriefings.
- Provide facility security administration, documentation, and management support: draft and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); conduct security program self-inspections.
- Pursue and obtain customer accreditation for Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
- Manage and maintain UL-2050 Compliant Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) and automated Access Control Systems (ACS).
- Ensure the development, documentation, and presentation of classified security education, awareness, and training activities.
- Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance.
- Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers.
- Perform the duties of a Top-Secret Control Officer (TSCO) as required.
- Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and six years of related security experience or Master's degree with four years of related security experience. In lieu of degree, an additional four years of related security experience may be considered.
- Candidate must be a US Citizen, have an U.S. Government Top Secret clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) current within 6 years.
- Organized and efficient at time management.
- Computer and desktop Microsoft office software products experience (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Must be detail-oriented, have meticulous record-keeping, and will be responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) or related experience.
- Self-starter with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills, and organizational skills.
Salary Range: $84,600 - $127,000
