Responsibilities
Kforce's client is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team of a global entertainment company based in New York, NY. The role will be 3 days in the office & 2 days remote. Summary: You will be joining a team that offers a real opportunity to develop an expertise in music publishing and broaden an understanding of financial analysis, strategy, and operations. - Senior Financial Analyst will build and update financial models for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting purposes includes detailed revenue models as well as fully integrated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow models
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecast submissions
- Participate in the month end closing process in connection with the accounting team
- Analyze current and past trends including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, overhead expenses, and investments
- Assist in the creation of strategic and financial materials to corporate parent company
- Communicate and coordinate with various teams to gain insights into the industry and company for forecasting and strategy purposes
- Help to create and present business review materials to the CEO & CFO
- As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc reporting
- Consults manager where appropriate to communicate ideas or solutions, solve problems and complete tasks and projects to deadlines
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Big 4 transaction services/due diligence/deal advisory, Big 4 auditing, or investment banking experience
- CPA license is a plus
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office Software applications, particularly Excel (Power Query is a plus), and ability to learn and reconcile to other accounting and financial reporting systems (e.g., Power BI, Business Central, SAP BPC, OneStream)
- Continuously strives to improve performance and efficiency
- Ability to analyze accounting data and communicate effectively with senior management (including non-finance professionals) to explain conclusions clearly
- Ability to think through issues in a -big picture- manner, taking into account broader business implications, and recommend and effect appropriate actions and solutions
- Some travel required

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per year
