The primary focus of the Senior Financial Analyst - Treasury will be to provide treasury management with analytical support in the areas of financial analysis and treasury operations. The successful candidate will interact with personnel from numerous Credit Acceptance departments and will have opportunities to work with senior management, external vendors and capital providers. The analysis and output generated by this position will assist in decisions that support the Company's financial planning and funding objectives. Additionally, the candidate will assist in the development, maintenance and evolution of tools and processes that support the Company's funding and cash management strategy.
Outcomes and Activities:
- This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan work location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member.
- Understand Credit Acceptance's governing debt documents to ensure the company maintains compliance with all material requirements.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on the company's various funding instruments (revolving credit facility, warehouse lines of credit, and asset backed securitizations). Help prepare and review the monthly servicing certificates that are provided to various counterparties for each securitization. This includes analyzing the prior month's collection activity, covenant performance, and computing/reviewing pool selections required to maintain adequate collateral for each facility.
- Assist in obtaining new funding adequate to support organizational growth through analysis of current capital structure and future funding requirements.
- Provide input in the daily cash management function. Responsibilities include forecasting daily cash positions, parsing and sending daily securitization collections, and efficiently borrowing or paying down the appropriate debt facility.
- Maintain internal analysis of key treasury metrics such as asset availability, cost of debt, and borrowing efficiency. A successful candidate will be able to identify trends in the data and explain variances between reporting periods.
- Evolve and maintain the support schedules for the Treasury activity disclosed in Credit Acceptance's SEC filings.
- Maintain a high level of customer service.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum two years of experience as a Financial Analyst
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
Preferred:
- CTP or MBA
- Minimum two years of experience in an accounting or financial planning role
- Treasury or Banking experience
- Experience with Microsoft Access.
Targeted Compensation:
$95,000 - $115,000 base salary + an annual bonus plan.
