A prominent digital assets fund is looking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant due to its growth. This is a hybrid role - 2 days a week in office!
Job Function
- Spearhead all accounting, operational and reporting functions for a Hyper-Growth Crypto Currency Fund
- Manage third party administrators, review monthly and quarterly books of the funds
- Coordinate year-end audits, and determine the appropriate accounting treatment for all complex transactions
- Automate and streamline finance and accounting processes
- Sit in investment pipeline meetings, be responsible for capital markets activity, and participate in the entire life cycle of their investments
- Manage valuations of underlying investments and field and respond to investor requests
Job Requirement
- Approximately 2-8 years of fund accounting and/or audit experience from a Top Tier CPA firm with a focus on fund clients
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA/MBA + not mandatory
- Someone who is driven, hardworking and reliable
- Strong Excel skills
