TSC is seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant II near Crystal City, VA. This position supports the Finance and Accounting Division. POSITION IS REMOTE: INCUMBENT MUST LIVE IN THE DC METRO AREA.

Responsibilities:
This position requires a flexible individual with experience in Accounts Payable and Deltek Costpoint.
- Performs the accounts payable function to ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports.
- Responsible for preparing accounts payable register and related reports.
- Ensures the integrity of accounts payable system files and the accounts payable integrations to the general ledger including workers compensation and general liability.
- Serves as primary database administrator and user analyst for the Accounts Payable System, petty cash and 1099 systems.
- Coordinates and schedules accounts payable processing/accounting events required for semi-weekly payment processing, monthly and annual closings.
- Prepares numerous month-end entries to the general ledger. Trains and directs staff on the accounts payable system and Company policies and procedures.

- Costpoint 5+ years
- Excel
- Microsoft Office
- Sharepoint (or another workflow tool)
- Multiline PO 2 and 3 way matches
- U.S. Citizenship required.

- Prior supervisory skills
