POSITION DETAILS
Addictions Recovery Center, Inc (ARC) in Medford, Oregon is a multidisciplinary behavioral health agency providing a trauma-informed, comprehensive continuum of substance use and co-occurring mental health disorder treatment services in Southern Oregon. We are seeking a qualified, full-time Revenue Cycle Manager to provide leadership and oversight of our Billing Department to advance the agency’s financial stability through accurate and timely insurance billing, as well as support those we serve by promoting transparency and helping reduce financial stress, so that they may focus on the core aspects of their treatment journey.
ARC’s Revenue Cycle Manager is crucial to ensuring a steady cash flow and maximizing revenue opportunities while helping maintain regulatory compliance. They facilitate an organized, service-minded environment for the team and provide them with mentoring and coaching in a professional, trauma-informed manner. ARC’s Revenue Cycle Manager also maintains effective working relationships with insurance payers and partners alike, while communicating and collaborating effectively across departments to ensure agency success.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Development and implementation of practice-specific process improvement recommendations to secure positive results
- Monitoring performance and improvements resolution plans for unfavorable trends
- Enhancing and standardizing work-flow processes throughout the revenue cycle that assist in achieving consistency in maintaining critical success factors
- Producing and analyzing standard monthly reports that assist in the monthly forecast process
- Monitoring and analyzing aging data
- Scheduling and assigning billing duties and tasks to Billing Specialists, including insurance billing, payment posting and reporting, as well as establishing and managing effective working relationships with insurance payers
- Monitoring and following up on the quality of staff work, and providing feedback, guidance, and support as needed
- Mentoring and coaching staff to help them further develop their skills and experience
- Ensuring that billing practices are consistent with operating policies and procedures, and meet timely filing requirements
- Completing all necessary and requested billing reports, as requested, or required
- Working closely with leadership as necessary to provide consistent review of account reconciliations, claim rejections, payor inaccuracies or inconsistencies, and any other issues
The Revenue Cycle Manager may also perform Billing Specialist functions and other tasks as needed.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS & SKILLS
Education, Credentials and Skills should include:
- 3 years’ experience in a supervisory and leadership role
- 2-3 years of direct medical billing experience (behavioral health billing experience preferred)
- AA/BA or equivalent combination of work experience and training
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects and priorities
- A professional demeanor, strong customer services orientation, and excellent communication skills
- Advanced competency in computer use, keyboarding, databases, and MS Office products
- An understanding of the agency’s mission and culture, and a commitment to client success
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Compensation and benefits include:
- ARC employees work no more than four-days a week to ensure they can maintain a healthy work and life balance
- Starting salary ranging from $65,744.64 to $75,606.34 annually, depending on credentials, skills, and experience
- $3000.00 sign-on bonus for the successful candidate (paid in two installments, 50% at three months active employment, remaining 50% at six months active employment)
- Employer-paid licensing, renewal, and certification fees
- Three (3) to six (6) weeks of Vacation accrued per year, based upon years of service
- Sick time is accrued for all employees based on regularly scheduled hours
- Ten (10) Paid Holidays each year: New Year’s, MLK Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
