Senior Analyst (New York, New York)
- Perform cost estimates for mega infrastructure projects, masterplans, buildings, and other developments;
- Develop cost and risk analysis of projects, conduct risks workshops, identify risks, execute Monte Carlo risk assessments, and monitor and report changes to project leadership;
- Develop construction cost analysis ranging from Class 5 rough order of magnitude estimates to Class 1;
- Draw conclusions, make recommendations, and coordinate relevant project inputs from other consultants;
- Develop Life Cycle Cost (LCC) models for infrastructure projects using Excel and VBA, including capital cost estimates, operating and maintenance costs, replacement costs, and disposal costs;
- Develop fleet transition LCC models for clients aiming to transition from an internal combustion engine vehicles fleet to greener combustion mechanisms such as electric or hydrogen;
- Provide due diligence services of construction cost estimates, validating and checking costs to inform client regarding project status and satisfy client needs;
- Provide periodic reports during construction, operating, and maintenance phases of projects to inform client on project status, quality, and compliance with contractual agreements and industry standards;
- Handle cost discipline work for large infrastructure projects;
- Coordinate with disciplines leads and project management team to collect project design information, develop the final product, and communicate with the client;
- Present project results, conclusions, and recommendations to clients and project stakeholders to support decision making processes;
- Liaise with consultants and engineers to gather technical inputs to prepare cost and risk analysis;
- Develop project workplan and timeline, identify resources needed, and track project budget;
- Lead and manage project workplan and resources for small and medium projects and coordinate with other discipline leads for big infrastructure projects;
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff ensuring knowledge transfer within the team and strengthening team capabilities;
- Conduct peer reviews and Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) checks on deliverables produced by junior staff, ensuring that work meets high-quality standards before submission to clients;
- Foster the creation and reporting of cost estimate deliverables to clients, including models, reports, and presentations;
- Communicate with external vendors to gather data to strengthen final product and satisfy cost analysis needs;
- Address, counsel, and advise on best approaches, level of detail, Work Breakdown Structure, and cost analysis approach; and,
- Assist in the development of a standardized procedure to retrieve and apply cost data knowledge transfer to new team members on technical skills and internal company procedures.
- Requires Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of experience.
- Salary Range: $98,400 - $133,000/year.
