Job Summary:
IPH is seeking a Principal Compensation Analyst who will report to the Sr. Director, Total Rewards at IPH. The Principal Analyst is a highly skilled individual contributor with expertise in Sales Compensation Strategy, executive compensation, and strategic compensation practices. The ideal candidate is curious with strong business acumen, a relationship builder with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, and an analytical thinker that dives deep into problem solving.
This will be a key role in helping the business grow with M&A, benefits, and compensation projects that require strategic insight and collaboration across multiple groups. This role is part of Total Rewards developing and managing the successful execution of compensation projects including leading communication initiatives out of the Total Rewards function with partnership of marketing and communication.
The role requires being well-versed and experienced in all benefits and compensation elements with strengths in project management, business case development for change, and a holistic approach on aligning the Total Rewards philosophy with our mission at IPH.
The Principal Compensation Analyst must be an agile strategic thought partner interacting with the HR Leadership team and other internal departments, demonstrating expertise, professionalism, dedication, and empathy. Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in benchmarking and determining the best way to set up the sales and bonus structures for the customer service teams, insurance processors, and claims adjusters plus any additional sales functions.
- Assist in communications planning to ensure all Total Rewards communications have a consistent messaging aligned with the compensation philosophy.
- Act as a trusted advisor to a client group assigned supporting client group through offers and job leveling as necessary and providing a sounding board for total rewards advice.
- Propose and present ideas effectively, in writing and verbally to influence decisions, senior decision makers, and outcomes within tight timelines.
- Use data and analysis to help create business case for change and to model competitive assessment dashboards to ensure we are market competitive in our pay practices.
- Assist in supporting executive compensation and survey submissions.
- Assist in Managing Canada Benefits for renewal and strategic design partnering with broker to ensure all compliance is met for the country.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Human Resources or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Compensation Design, Benefits Design, or Sales Incentive Compensation Design (CCP is a plus).
- 10+ years working in an analytic capacity with data modeling for compensation and benefits or executive compensation with experience in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Workday Advanced Compensation.
- Experience in implementing, documenting, refining Total Rewards policies and documentation.
