Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work HYBRID with our client in Houston, TX. Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
- Responsible for in-depth analysis of Leases, Contracts, title documents, pooling and unitization, legal opinions, well data, production data, revenue data, and maps needed to determine proper ownership calculations and reconcile revenue payments made by Operators, Lessees, and Purchasers relative to the mineral acreage, surface, and depth ownership of client Lands.
- Also responsible for maintaining accurate surface and depth ownership records and working with internal departments and external parties to secure the needed ownership and payment records.
- Correspondence with the operators and internal departments on client Lands ownership position as necessary to ensure data compliance and accurate ownership records.
- Serves as Team Lead, providing guidance and training for new Analysts and Interns, creating/updating department guidelines & training materials, and measuring/monitoring progress with department data statistics in the monthly management reports.
- Collect, analyze, enter, and maintain internal ownership records at multiple levels (lease, lease tract, unit, and unit tract).
- Experienced analysis of internal records, titles, and data received from operators, lessees, and internal and external data sources regarding surface and depth ownership related to client ownership.
- Including but not limited to sound data and status, drilling and completion reports, production history, payment requirements, post-production charges, pooling & unitization agreements, down-hole commingles, marketing arrangements, and all other data needed to reconcile revenue & determine accurate payment to the client.
- Monitor drilling reports for regulatory and statutory compliance of oil and gas operators on client land acreage and depths to ensure timely and proper royalty payments.
- Work with internal departments and Operators to ensure client records are current and complete.
- Educate and assist both internal and external parties in the energy industry regarding client data requirements and the use of public websites.
- Educate, train & monitor ownership data to ensure client contractual compliance for proper royalty payment.
- Served as the Lead for educating, training, and monitoring the Division Order function and responsibilities regarding purpose, workloads, gap analysis, and monthly Management Reports.
- Work is performed in an office environment.
- Daily use of personal computer and other standard office equipment.

Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 6 years experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science.
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Senior level Division Order Analyst.
- Commensurate Energy Industry experience.
- Experience working with the Texas Railroad Commission and external data resources.
- Expert verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Knowledge of client Lands or private mineral ownership.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Self-motivated.
