Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Land Analyst is responsible for assisting the land team in the acquisition and maintenance of new surface rights of way by streamlining the transfer and approval of materials relating to payment, documents, and data.
- Organizes and maintains the excel tool used to track land right provisions and timings
- Receives and inputs all land related check request information inclusive accounting coding, method of payment, and making sure of approval on the appropriate timeline
- Organizes the receipt of land related agreements and facilitates appropriate approval flow
- Participates in weekly meetings which include members of the engineering, land, and commercial teams to ensure work streams are being facilitated appropriately
- All other duties as assigned
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of (3) years’ experience in oil and gas, surface land or analyst roles preferably specifically related to midstream surface operations
- Experience with surface land agreements and the title process
- Experience in all related Microsoft Office Applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, etc...
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
- Occasional driving may be needed to travel to Kinetik plants and worksites as needed
- Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
- Will require lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 15 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis
