Job Title: Senior Accountant
Reports To: Accounting Manager
Exempt: FT
Key functions of this position: The development, analysis, and interpretation of statistical and accounting information in order to appraise operating results.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Own month end/year end close functions, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and reports in compliance with GAAP and corporate policies.
- Track, record, audit, and report on Capex items, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Track, record, and report on prepaids and various accruals.
- Assist with intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and reports.
- Become a backup for various items, including daily sales reports, daily bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and sales tax filings.
- Support the external audit process with the Accounting Manager and CFO.
- Support CFO with special projects as needed.

Education and Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years public accounting experience.
- Knowledge of US GAAP with financial statement preparation.
- Experience with large data sets, including ability to analyze and report to various levels of management strongly preferred.
- Can work with a group through the monthly close and reporting process with various reporting deadlines.
- Enthusiasm to take on responsibilities and continue to build and develop your own knowledge and skills.

- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Power BI skills a plus.
